Palms in Paris vol.2

It was so difficult to choose from all those photos I took during my trip! But here they are! Few  photos from a walk to Versailles. I choose light and casual outfit so I could be on foot all day and still feel comfortable.

Adding a  bomber jacket was also definitely right choice because it was really cold in the morning (wearing jacket in august makes me really feel out of this world. It's like every wearing swimsuit on Christmas, you know that it exist somewhere but still sounds unbelievable. I know that in my hometown I will put my first jacket in the end of October.)

Palms in Paris vol.1

Everyone wants to visit Paris. If you don't then you definitely should! Not perfect but so gorgeous, it combines art, fashion and chic. It is the place you want to stay little bit more than possible. City where you NEED  to get lost. so beautiful in it's own, inexplicable way.

Traveling Basics

I know I haven't been posting for a while because of my work but now I'm slowly starting to get ready for a Big Trip. I leave my beloved Crete at 1st of August for almost a month when I'm going to visit Paris (oh, Paris...) , Lithuania where I grew up and Russia where I was born.

So, the first thing that I always think about when I'm going to travel is shoes. It's very important to me to have something that I can wear to any occasion and to match with all my outfits.
Of course choosing footwear depends on where and when you are travelling but there is always a base that you can use to be sure that you have everything you need.
First of all sneakers. I don't think that I have to tell a lot about them because if I start I will never be able to finish. But anyway they are a stylish and comfortable finishing for almost every outfit and perfect when you have to stay all day on foot going to museums, exploring the town and generally whatever a normal tourist do. Stan Smith's are always doing this work very well.
Second essential is flats. They are perfect days when you want to look a little bit more feminine but not feeling like wearing heels. I opt for a nude Mango pair because it elongate my legs even if I wear a dress or shorts.
After I usually have a comfortable pair of Alexander Wang (similar) heels  that I can wear to a night out but also with a casual outfit and don't get tired. It's important to take with you shoes that you are sure about. The biggest mistake is to take a brand new pair that you are not 100% sure that will feel perfect on your feet.
My last choice is a free option that depends on where I am going. If it is a business trip, wedding etc. I opt for nude pumps that always look elegant and with my blazer and with my evening dress. If it's a vocation I will opt for simple slip ons or sandals.

Clothes are always a difficult part. I always want to take as less as possible but at the same time I want to have a lot of different combinations and outfits that will all look perfect!
I try to opt first the basic peaces of my closet that work with everything based on a place that I'm going of course and the weather. Peaces like a white shirt and a blazer are my go to stylish things. I also take a bomber jacket in neutral color if it's little bit cold outside.
My favorite new discovery is a Mango lace appliqué dress that looks so stunning with almost everything I wear! It's really like a LBD but in navy blue!
Also I opt for jeans and pants that look good with heels and with sneakers as well. It makes combinations much easier.
After I complete my choices with statement peaces that will make my outfits look stylish and gorgeous. For example a nice pair of red cropped wide leg trοusers (that are my go to peace for this summer) to add some color to my outfits. And also my favorite Calvin Klein bag in nude color that matches with every outfit and every occasion.

The last thing I do before all that peaces in my luggage is trying to imagine as more different combination as I can and trying them on to be sure that they work. It will help me avoid wasting time of my vocation on choosing what to wear and prevent me from taking peaces that I may not wear.

Must-have summer piece

I'm back from my vocation in small Greek village to reality and my work is waiting for me tomorrow. And of course no one wants to work when it's hot outside.

So I found awesome solution for hot summer days. This light one-piece jumpsuit is the must-have piece for summer. I found it in Stradivarius and I wasn't meant to buy it but I fall in love and couldn't resist. It worth it for sure!

Perfect blue

I found that wonderful Zara jeans in my mum's closet. It has that perfect blue color that is so difficult to find nowadays so it was my chance  to give them new life transforming them into perfect cropped jeans . It's always a wonderful thing to make a new thing from an old one.

In my outfits I prefer to keep it classic but I always add accessories and small details to put everything together.

White shirt and blue jeans is perfect combination for every occasion. Just pair it with nude flats for your everyday outfit or with heels for the evening.

My love for this summer is this Calvin Klein bag. It has that wonderful pink-grey color that looks perfect with everything (how is it possible? )
